About Me

I got my love of stories naturally.  My parents read to my siblings and me when we were growing up, and my father wrote stories for us. My father and mother both won writing contests with short stories they entered, and my grandmother published fiction in a children's magazine.

I have been writing fiction since I was eight years old.  I am a Christian, and my stories often (but not always) have things about God in them.  I like to write fantasy and science fiction, and have also experimented with romance, mystery, etc., not always successfully.  Ultimately, I write in whatever genre fits the story I have to tell.

Since 12th grade, I have struggled with exhaustion, although I don't have an official diagnosis.  Recently I have improved somewhat, since a friend recommended enzyme supplements.  I hope to continue gaining strength and clarity so that I can pursue a career as a novelist.  I am a member of ACFW.
